This project is a comprehensive remodel of an existing hillside residential property in Los Angeles, involving a full architectural, spatial, and site-level transformation.
The scope includes the renovation of an existing single-family residence totaling 3,005 sq. ft., consisting of 2,178.5 sq. ft. on the first floor and 827.2 sq. ft. on the second floor, along with a 498.9 sq. ft. addition that enhances interior layout, circulation, and connection to outdoor living areas.
An existing pool house was remodeled and converted into an Accessory Living Quarters (ALQ) with a total area of 580.6 sq. ft., expanding the functional residential use of the site. Supporting structures include a garage and a carport, both integrated into the overall site layout.
The project also includes a reshaped swimming pool, extensive deck, hardscape, and landscape renovations, as well as coordinated grading and drainage solutions tailored to the hillside conditions. Together, these improvements unify the architecture and outdoor spaces into a cohesive contemporary residential environment.
The result is a fully renewed property that balances modern living requirements, outdoor lifestyle, and complex site constraints through a thoughtful and carefully coordinated remodeling approach.
