This project features the development of a new single-family residence located in Joshua Tree, designed to fully embrace the surrounding desert environment while maintaining a strong sense of openness, privacy, and connection to nature.

The new residence totals approximately 1,857 sq. ft., with a layout carefully planned to balance open living areas and private spaces. The interior organization prioritizes natural light, clean circulation, and framed views of the desert landscape, creating a calm and grounded atmosphere throughout the home.

In addition to the main dwelling, the project includes a 120 sq. ft. storage structure and a 400 sq. ft. carport, both thoughtfully integrated into the overall composition. These elements remain subtle and functional while aligning with the architectural language of the house.

A defining aspect of the project is the expansive outdoor environment, designed to reflect the lifestyle of Joshua Tree — open, relaxed, and centered around nature. The backyard features multiple wooden deck areas and a newly introduced swimming pool, forming a layered outdoor experience that encourages gathering, отдыха, and seamless indoor-outdoor living.
